Interactive Web Sites

America’s Story from America’s Library
The Library of Congress created this great interactive site for families to learn more about the history of America. Meet amazing Americans, jump back in time, explore the states, join America at play and more.

Get Wild About Reading With Between the Lions on PBS
This PBS half-hour program airs daily and features a family of lions -- who run a library like no other on earth. The doors "between the lions" swing open to reveal a magical place where characters pop off the pages of books, vowels sing, and words take on a life of their own. The programs mission is to help young children learn to read. Visit the Web site for show times or to read the stories on line.
